Freaks Anonymous – Day 7

Good session last night and I definitely noticed the difference allowing a full set of rest between my Monday and Wednesday workout. My energy level was much higher and I felt much better through out the work out. Needless to say I learned my lesson about double-stacking workouts and won’t be doing it again anytime soon. Went with 225lb on dead lift again to make sure I was keeping good form and it felt solid throughout. I’ll look to move the weight up a bit next week. Had a very solid second triplex and really rocked on the medicine ball roll-outs. I really enjoy that exercise even though it totally sucks when your’e doing them. Finished out with a good set of rows/curls/medicine ball lock-outs and I was feeling good.

Back to boxing today and I’m looking forward to it. These off days are a lot of fun and have helped me to work out a lot of tightness I may have been feeling from the day before. It feels good to be back to scaring the locals overall, and I’m looking forward to becoming terrifying in the coming weeks.

On a side note, I’m in that awkward stage between looking out of shape and in shape. It’s like that point between winter and spring when you’re not really sure what is going on, but all you know is you can’t wait for it to finally look like only one season. Well spring is a coming, and hopefully it’s coming fast…
